Patterns from the high country

Bedroom window with floral patterned curtains, a bedside table with a beige lamp, and part of a bed with white bedding.

Wood Lily Designs creates original patterns for the home and self - textiles, home decor, and apparel - rooted in the mountains, meadows, and high desert of southwestern Colorado. Foraged plants, weathered textures, and overlooked wildlife become designs that bring warmth and story into your everyday.

Who We Are

Wood Lily Designs isn't desert Southwest. There's no cactus here! This is mountain and meadow country. The kind of landscape that gives you a wood lily blooming beneath a pine tree at 9,000 feet and a herd of elk grazing in a blooming meadow on an early autumn morning.

Every pattern starts the same way: outside, on foot, noticing something most people walk past. A fence line covered with wild growth. Mud churned by a passing elk herd. A particular crack pattern in old adobe. These get sketched, painted, photographed, and foraged by hand before they're ever touched by a screen.
